Instructions For Use
WARNING:
While extracted from natural botanicals, essential oils are potent and powerful, and proper care must be taken while using them. Always keep them securely stored and out of reach of children. Though it is well documented that essential oils offer many various therapeutic benefits, our oils are consumer products intended for diffuser use only. Do not ingest. Do not apply undiluted essential oils directly to your skin. If accidental ingestion occurs, contact a poison control center and/or seek immediate medical attention.
Use Within Water Diffuser:
A good starting place is to add 3 to 5 drops of essential oil for every 100 ml of water. Of course, don’t be afraid to experiment with more or less to suit your preference! Do keep in mind that as each essential oil’s fragrance will be different in how it interacts with the air and your sense of smell, that some will need fewer / more drops than others to produce the same level of intensity.
Use Within Nebulizing Diffusers:
If you are unfamiliar with nebulizing diffusers, they work by forcing a stream of air at high pressure through small tubes that contain the oil. This stream of air turns oils into a fine mist and distributes it around the environment. As nebulizing diffusers do not use water (and therefore are not diluted), the result will be a much stronger and more potent fragrance.
As each device and capacity is different, please first follow your device’s instructions for use. In general however, we recommend starting with a small amount of oil (5 – 10 drops) inside your reservoir. Keep in mind that certain essential oils like peppermint, eucalyptus or tea tree for example are very potent and can quickly be overpowering even at small amounts. We recommend using a water diffuser for stronger fragrances that require more control.
